Overview
The School of Physical and Chemical Sciences (SPCS) within the Faculty of Science and Engineering is seeking to appoint a new Lecturer in Biomedical Signal Processing who will join Queen Mary School Hainan (QMSH), QMUL's latest transnational education partnership in PR China.
Responsibilities
* Develop and deliver teaching, including block teaching in China, delivering high‑quality content in digital signal and image processing, biomedical signal processing and data science.
* Conduct research of international standing in Biomedical Engineering and contribute to the research environment at QMSH.
* Participate in the administration of QMSH.
* Travel to China as required for block teaching.
Qualifications
* PhD in Physics, Maths, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
* Excellent subject knowledge and teaching experience.
* Ability to design, develop and deliver high‑quality teaching and assessment.
* Strong research profile and clear, ambitious plans for future research activities in Biomedical Engineering.
