Monarch Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Teacher to work in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Enhanced Resource Unit in Swadlincote. Are you passionate about supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours? We are looking for a full-time teacher to start as soon as possible, working with KS2 pupils in a specialised resource setting. The position is initially until at least Christmas, with the potential for extension. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver tailored lessons to KS2 pupils with ASD, ADHD, and challenging behaviours Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development Manage behaviours effectively and promote a positive learning environment Collaborate with SEN staff and external professionals to meet individual needs Monitor and record pupils' progress and behaviour Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual pupils' needs and abilities Candidate Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status Experience working with children with SEND, particularly ASD and ADHD, is desirable Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SEN best practices Strong behaviour management skills and patience Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs Proactive, caring, and committed to supporting pupils' development If you are available immediately and are passionate about making a difference in pupils' lives, we would love to hear from you.
