We are seeking talented Applied Data Scientists to join a cutting-edge programme, supporting UK intelligence clients.
You will be part of a programme focused on artificial intelligence, machine learning, advanced analytics, and modern cloud-native technologies within a highly secure environment.
What You'll Be Doing
As an Applied Data Scientist, you will:
1. Work on complex challenges across AI, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning
2. Build, train and deploy models using tools such as: PyTorchTensorFlowscikit-learn
3. Apply modern data science techniques to real-world, mission-critical problems
4. Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy scalable solutions using cloud-based tooling
The Environment
You'll be operating within an AI Lab-style model, where:
5. Teams are encouraged to experiment, prototype, and explore emerging technologies
6. Requirements evolve-flexibility and curiosity are key

What We're Looking For
9. Strong experience in applied data science, machine learning or AI
10. Hands-on experience with frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow or sklearn
11. Experience working with NLP or advanced analytics (desirable)
12. Ability to move from research and prototyping into production environments
13. A mindset suited to experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning
Security Requirements
14. Active SC (Security Check) clearance is required
15. Must be a UK Sole National due to the nature of the work and client requirements
