At National Highways, we're looking for a Business Services Manager to help us deliver exceptional administrative and business support across the South East region. This role can be based at any of our regional offices in Basingstoke, Maidstone, or Guildford on a hybrid working pattern of 2 days per week in the office.
You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth operations, supporting our teams, and driving continuous improvement. Working alongside other Business Services Managers and reporting to the Head of Performance Assurance and Business Services, you'll make sure our services meet high standards and provide real value to colleagues and customers.
You will:
* Assess and allocate resources to meet the region's administrative support needs.
* Ensure customer-facing administration, including correspondence and enquiries, is delivered accurately and professionally.
* Provide management support across key administrative processes and produce timely reports and documentation to inform decision-making.
* Lead and develop your team, monitoring performance and fostering a culture of high standards and continuous improvement.
* Promote health, safety, wellbeing, and best practice across all service activities.

1. Proven experience managing successful teams in a shared or business services operational environment.
