Production Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised, energetic and motivational person, with a strong background of leadership in an engineering environment, to become TSL’s new Production Manager.
The competitive salary will be based on experience, with the successful applicant taking on the following responsibilities:
* Overseeing the entire production process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely completion of products.
* Working closely with production planning to schedule production activities, managing workflow, and addressing any production-related issues.
* Ensuring that all manufacturing equipment is maintained and working correctly and efficiently.
* Ensuring effective communication and coordination between different departments within the production areas.
* Leading, mentoring, and developing the production team to ensure high levels of performance and job satisfaction whilst identifying training gaps and opportunities for cross‑training.
* Developing and implementing strategies for production optimization, analysing performance data to identify trends, forecasting needs, and addressing potential issues in the production processes.
* Managing production budgets, monitoring expenses, and implementing cost‑saving measures.
* Leading continuous improvement initiatives in production and supply chain processes, staying abreast of industry trends and advancements to drive innovation and efficiency.
