Role: Scheme Manager - Young Persons Service (Homelessness)

This is a permanent, salaried vacancy that will close in 24 days at 23:59 BST.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day management of Concrete’s 24/7 young person’s accommodation service. This includes overseeing building management and building security.
* Lead on the recruitment, selection and induction of new staff and ensure each member of staff is supported and trained with a clear understanding of their responsibilities.
* Support and lead staff to ensure that a personalised, cost effective and high-quality housing management and support service is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
* Lead on referrals coming into the scheme. This may include working with external agencies through multi-agency panels.
* Oversee regular house meetings with residents and staff, making sure that the voice of lived experience is acted on.
* Work as part of the management team with other Scheme Managers and deputise on behalf of the Operations Manager (24/7 Schemes) where required. Participate in the management on-call rota.
* Lead on financial and administrative duties, such as budget control and accurate record keeping.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree level qualification, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in housing management.
* Experience of working on project delivery.
* Chartered Institute Housing (CIH) member or willingness to work towards it.
* Strong skills in self-awareness, self-management professionalism.
* Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
* Excellent communication and negotiating skills.
* Experience of people management and HR processes.
* Experience of supporting financial processes including expense and invoice processing.
* Process development and improvement.
* Idea generation and implementation.
* Able to support a culture of continuous improvement.
* DBS check.
* Full UK driving licence with access to own vehicle for work.
