The Role
As a Service Engineer for this company, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1. Electrical and mechanical fault finding
2. Working on various processing machinery such as slicers, dicers, mixers, ovens, grinders etc.
3. Welding and fabricating
4. Confidently stripping and replacing mechanical components such as conveyor belts, sprockets, gearboxes, blades, spirals etc.
5. Fault find electrically within control panels, sensors, safety relays, circuit breakers etc.
6. Driving a company van to attend customer sites, performing machine installations
About You
The ideal Service Engineer will have the following:
7. A full UK licence
8. An engineering apprenticeship
9. Experience working independently or as part of a team
10. A sound understanding of key electrical and mechanical components
11. Previous welding/fabricating experience is beneficial, though not essential
