We are supporting a growing charity giving prison leavers real second chances. Real training, real jobs, real support.
We need someone brilliant to own and grow our 200+ volunteer network. This isn't a maintenance role. You'll be creating something that truly matters.
What you'll be doing:
* Designing and delivering the whole volunteer programme from scratch
* Building clear pathways covering mentoring, employability, events and skills based volunteering
* Recruiting, onboarding and training volunteers including prison specific compliance
* Leading engagement across 200+ volunteers with a proper comms plan
* Growing corporate partnerships that fund and fuel the programme
* Planning and delivering events in prisons and the community
* Managing budgets, policies, reporting and impact tracking
What you'll need:
* Experience managing large scale volunteer programmes or communities
* A track record of building things from scratch and seeing them through
* Confidence engaging everyone from corporates to community partners
* Understanding of safeguarding and working with vulnerable groups
* A self starter attitude. When something needs doing, you just do it
Experience in social impact, employability or criminal justice? Even better…. But if not, don’t let that put you off applying!
