A well-established and growing accountancy firm in London is looking to appoint an experienced Audit & Accounts Manager to join its management team. This position offers a broad role with around 75% focused on audit and 25% on statutory accounts, working with a wide-ranging portfolio of dynamic, owner-managed businesses.
The successful candidate will manage a client base of approximately 40 companies, with turnovers spanning from £1 million to £90 million, and annual fees starting from c£500,000.
We're seeking someone who is ACA or ACCA qualified with at least three years of post-qualification experience.
Duties:
Acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring high service standards are maintained.
Leading audit and accounting projects from planning through to sign-off.
Reviewing work prepared by team members, with a focus on audit files and year-end accounts.
Meeting regularly with clients alongside partners to provide strategic and technical advice.
Overseeing the preparation of corporation tax computations and ensuring compliance deadlines are met.
Getting involved in business development activities, including networking and pitching for new clients.
Supporting the growth of the office and mentoring junior team members.
Experience Required:
ACA/ACCA qualified with solid post-qualified experience.
Strong working knowledge of FRS 102.
Demonstrable experience running audits from start to finish.
Competent across MS Office (especially Excel), and familiar with accounting software.
Experience with Caseware and Digita would be a plus, but not essential.
Confident communicator with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
