We are recruiting an Administrative Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council. Working hours: 37 Hours (7.24 Monday – Friday) Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time Location: Ty Penallta / Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Asset Maintenance and Repairs Housing Team. We pay an attractive salary of £41,511 - £44,711 and offer access to training and development opportunities. This is a new role, and will require a forward thinking, efficient and effective Administrative Manager who will drive forward the administration team and support the wider Asset Maintenance and Repairs team. The role will be to manage an effective central administrative team to provide a range of professional, customer focused, cost efficient, innovative administration and to provide a business support service to the team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Business Manager, the Planner Manager and the senior management team in the development of systems and procedures within the section, linking into the business planning objectives to contribute to continuous improvement to all repair, maintenance and planned programmes in accordance with corporate and divisional performance plans and objectives. For the role, we ask that you have: A Relevant Level 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example Business Management or Administration. Excellent knowledge across a wide range of different sections within the Housing sector, including response repairs, statutory maintenance, WHQS, ordering, heating and disabled aids. The ability to write reports and produce information in a variety of formats as well as planning and implementing service improvement changes.
