A well-established local law firm in Thirsk is seeking a full-time Conveyancing Assistantto join their busy and friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous conveyancing experience or a strong administrative background in legal services who is looking to develop their career in a supportive and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting fee earners with all aspects of residential conveyancing transactions
* Drafting legal documents and correspondence
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, and other solicitors
* Managing case files and updating clients on progress
* Handling searches, Land Registry applications, and post-completion formalities
* General administrative duties including data entry and file management
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a conveyancing or legal assistant role preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
* A team player with a proactive and professional approach
