Advance is looking for Support Workers in Boston, Lincolnshire, to support customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs, or mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. You must have a full UK/International driving license and access to your own vehicle; mileage will be paid at 0.45p per mile.
Day-to-Day Activities:
* Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
* Sleep-ins may be required
* Waking nights may be required
* Medication administration (if required)
* Supporting with preparing and cooking meals
* Supporting with attending medical appointments
* Supporting with social activities
* Supporting with independent skills
* Supporting with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
* Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
* Keeping up to date with your training

About the candidate:
No prior experience in care or support is necessary. What matters most are your values, passion, and determination to make a difference in the lives of people with autism or learning disabilities.
If you believe a Support Worker role is right for you, you should be:
* Capable of working independently and as part of a team
* Excellent at communicating with people
* Able to work with complex needs and have experience with mental health
* Able to complete quality support records
* Available to work every other weekend
* Available to work between 7 am and 10:30 pm
* Able to follow Support Plans and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records
* Literate and numerate in English
* ICT literate
* Willing to achieve the Care Certificate
