PMLD Support Assistant (SEN Schools) - Mansfield Are you a compassionate and reliable PMLD Support Assistant with experience in SEN or care-based settings? Academics are currently recruiting PMLD Support Assistants to work on a temporary, ongoing supply basis within specialist SEN schools across Mansfield. As a PMLD Support Assistant, you will be supporting pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) in calm, structured and highly nurturing school environments. These roles are ideal for a PMLD Support Assistant with a background in care, SEN or healthcare who is seeking flexible work that makes a genuine impact on pupils' daily lives. Position: PMLD Support Assistant Location: Mansfield, Nottinghamshire Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing Pay: £88.94 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and training, paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees) Start Date: ASAP or a start date that suits you About the Role As a PMLD Support Assistant, you will support pupils with complex physical, medical and learning needs, helping them to access education, routines and daily activities safely and comfortably. This PMLD Support Assistant role includes a strong hands-on care element, such as personal care, sensory support and moving and handling. You will work closely with teachers, therapists and fellow support staff to ensure pupils' individual needs, care plans and EHCP targets are met consistently.
