This is an exciting opportunity to join a quality-driven operation with an established reputation for excellent food and service. Working closely alongside the Executive Chef, you will take ownership of the hotel's award-winning restaurant, overseeing the delivery of its à la carte offering and helping to maintain its 1 AA Rosette standard. A strong kitchen brigade is already in place, providing an excellent platform for a motivated and creative Head Chef to make their mark while continuing to develop the food offering. What's on Offer? £43,000 salary Tips and additional benefits package 45 hours contracted per week Live-in accommodation available at minimal cost with all bills included Opportunity to work within a respected 4-star hotel and wedding venue Established team and supportive senior management structure Career development working alongside an experienced Executive Chef The Role Lead the day-to-day operation of the hotel restaurant kitchen Deliver high-quality à la carte dining to 1 AA Rosette standards Create, develop and evolve seasonal menus Cost dishes and menus to achieve agreed GP targets Manage stock control, ordering and supplier relationships Train, mentor and develop junior members of the brigade Ensure compliance with all food safety, allergen and health & safety regulations Maintain consistency, quality and presentation across all dishes Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef on menu development and business objectives About You Previous experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef ready to step up within a quality-led operation Proven experience working within Rosette-standard kitchens is essential Strong menu writing, menu development and costing experience Sound understanding of food GP and kitchen financial controls Passionate about fresh food and high standards of presentation Strong leadership and people management skills Stable career history demonstrating longevity in previous positions Organised, professional and capable of leading a busy service If your experience aligns with our client's requirements, Dave at Perfect Recruitment will be in touch to arrange an initial screening call.
