We’re working with a strategic marketing communications agency that’s built a reputation for challenging the ordinary. They partner with ambitious B2B brands to sharpen positioning, drive demand, and deliver standout communications across the full customer journey.
They’re now looking for a Senior Content Strategist to join their Manchester team — someone who can combine strong editorial instincts with commercial thinking and a genuine interest in how AI is reshaping content.

This isn’t just a writing role.
It’s a strategy-led content position where you’ll shape narratives, support demand generation, and play a key role in evolving how content gets produced using AI.
You’ll be creating high-quality B2B content across multiple channels, but just as importantly, you’ll be helping to build smarter, scalable content systems — using tools, prompt design, and retrieval-augmented approaches to improve speed, consistency and impact.
If you’re excited about where AI is taking content, but still grounded in the fundamentals of great storytelling and audience insight, this will suit you well.
What you’ll be doing
* Writing and shaping high-quality B2B content across formats — thought leadership, web, campaigns, email, social, case studies and more
* Turning brand strategy and messaging frameworks into scalable, AI-assisted content systems
* Supporting the development of AI-enabled workflows, including prompt design and retrieval-augmented approaches (RAG)
* Working closely with account teams to develop content strategies aligned to demand generation goals
* Advising clients and internal teams on messaging, narrative structure and content effectiveness
* Reviewing and refining AI-generated content to ensure it’s accurate, relevant and on-brand
* Helping establish content governance and quality control processes for AI-supported delivery
* Collaborating with strategists, creatives and digital teams on integrated campaigns
* Using performance insight and audience understanding to continuously improve content output
What they’re looking for
* Around 4–5 years’ experience in content, copywriting or content strategy (ideally within a B2B agency environment)
* A strong portfolio across multiple formats and channels
* A solid understanding of B2B messaging, positioning and demand generation
* Experience working with complex organisations and stakeholders
* Excellent writing, editing and editorial judgement
* A clear interest in AI-driven content workflows and how they’re changing content production
* Exposure to prompt writing, structured content inputs, or retrieval-augmented approaches is a big plus
* Commercial awareness — someone who understands impact, not just output
* Comfortable balancing strategy and hands-on delivery
