Our client is looking to appoint a Management Tutor to be based in Inverness with the option for hybrid working.
The purpose of the role is to deliver pre-written learning content and work with pupils on management related projects. Teaching experience is not required but applicants must have experience, knowledge and understanding or working in business including business administration, management, sale and marketing.
A good understanding of management in any industry is required along with the ability to confidently deliver face to face and online course content. Full training and support will be provided.
Overview of Role
* Bring your knowledge of working in a management environment to learners.
* You will work closely with learners providing them knowledge about working in a management roles.
* We need someone who will bring energy and enthusiasm to their work of delivering course content in a confident and professional manner.
Person Specification
* Mandatory: experience of working in a business environment and ideally in a management capacity. Knowledge of business types, entrepreneurialism, management of people, finance and contemporary business issues is preferred.
* Preferred, not essential: teaching/training/assessing or qualification delivery experience.
Key Activities
* Deliver programme of pre-designed learning teaching aspects of working in a business. (experience will help you to make this real and put the learning in context)
* Support learners to demonstrate knowledge learned through various assessment methods.
* Support learners to achieve high standards of project work.
* Manage relationships with staff and employers.
* Work with learners to overcome barriers to learning.
