Attendance Officer
Location: Norwich, Norfolk
Salary: £24,593 - £26,683 per annum, including an allocation for holiday pay (Pro Rata) (FTE SCP 12 - SCP 17 - £28,598 - £31,022 per annum)
Vacancy Type:Permanent, full-time, 37 hours per week, term-time plus 1 week

The school’s most recent Ofsted in 2022 demonstrated the school has an “ambitious curriculum” and that “teachers make appropriate adaptations to support pupils, including those with SEND, to achieve well”, resulting in a rating of “Good”. GCSE results in 2022 saw the school achieve higher than the national average across a variety of subjects. The High School is a member of an Education Trust (SET). The Trust is an expanding multi-academy trust with 13 primary and 9 secondary schools.
The Role
The post of Attendance Officer at the High School forms part of the Guidance Team and Business Support Team within the School. The successful candidate will co-ordinate and be responsible for elements of student attendance and take responsibility for administrative requirements using the School’s MIS system.
They will be able to work flexibly across the Guidance and Business Support teams, as required, to provide administrative support as directed by the Headteacher and/or Assistant Headteacher (Behaviour, Safeguarding and Attendance). The Attendance Officer will form part of the contact team for students, staff, parents, carers and visitors ensuring they deliver a world-class service.
