Our client is an Industry Award- Winning contractor specialising in Groundworks and RC Frames based in west London. They are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with significant groundworks experience.
THE ROLE:
* Preparing valuations for interim applications including variations
* Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts
* Adjustments/remeasuring of Bills of Quantities
* Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations
* Preparing valuation and payment certificates
* Monitoring costs and ensuring budget targets are met.
* Monthly costs/value reconciliation.
* Checking material sizes and quantities for procurement
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND TRAINING:
* Minimum 2-3 years QS experience in Groundworks.
* Experience in frames would also be desirable (but not essential).
* Degree qualified in a relevant degree (Eng BSc, MSc, HND or HNC)
* Good time management and high responsibilities and working ability to meet the deadline
The role is predominantly office based with regular visits to sites.
SALARY:
Salary is negotiable based on the experience (on or above market rate)
