About the Role
A leading Tier 1 contractor is seeking an experienced P6 Planner to support the development of a £300m hospital project currently progressing through RIBA Stage 2. This is an excellent opportunity to join a flagship scheme at a critical early-design phase, helping shape the program strategy for one of the region’s most significant healthcare builds.
This flexible contract offers 3 days per week or full-time working, ideal for professionals seeking short-term engagement with strong day rates and a high-value project.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and manage the Primavera P6 construction program for a major hospital development.
* Support planning input during early design and pre-construction stages (RIBA 2).
* Work collaboratively with design teams, project managers, and wider delivery stakeholders.
* Produce progress updates, reporting, and scenario planning as required.
* Ensure programme integrity, logic, and compliance with contract requirements.
* Attend planning meetings (remote or on-site as necessary).
Requirements
* Strong experience using Primavera P6 on major construction projects.
* Previous involvement in large-scale schemes (£100m+ preferred).
* Knowledge of healthcare projects or complex public-sector builds is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.
* Based in Wales or the South West, with the ability to travel to Truro when required.
