We're hiring a Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join a high-growth fintech lender expanding rapidly across the UK, EU, and US. This role will be instrumental in shaping credit strategy and risk analytics across European portfolios, with a specific focus on the German SME or consumer lending market.
? What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading credit risk analysis and policy development for the German lending market
* Building and maintaining credit scoring models and risk frameworks (PD, LGD, EAD)
* Working closely with data, product, and commercial teams to deliver data-driven strategies
* Monitoring portfolio performance and recommending optimisation strategies
* Designing analytical tools and dashboards to enhance credit decisioning
What We're Looking For:
* Strong experience in credit risk within SME or consumer lending
* Deep understanding of German credit risk practices and regulation
* Advanced SQL skills; comfort working with large datasets
* Analytical mindset and strong communication skills
* Bonus: experience with Python, credit scoring systems, or statistical modelling
