Job Title: Installations Operative Location: Nationwide (based in Studley) Contract Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive Overtime Travel Expenses Hours: Full-time, with flexibility required for travel and nights away Overview: LRL Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Installations Operative to join the projects and installations team of a leading specialist transport and logistics provider. This role involves delivering complex lifting, jacking, skidding, and installation operations across various sites in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of large-scale engineered moves and installations for high-profile clients, supported by industry-leading equipment and training. Key Responsibilities: Work as part of a skilled project team to carry out jacking, skidding, and lifting installations across UK sites Operate from Allelys' Head Office when not on-site Adhere strictly to all health & safety policies and site-specific procedures Follow project-specific RAMS as instructed by the Site Supervisor or Project Manager Operate plant and machinery following proper training and certification Report any issues, incidents, or safety concerns immediately to management Participate in loading/unloading of equipment in the yard and on-site Carry out manual handling tasks and tackle inspections before and after use Support the maintenance and upkeep of company equipment Personal Attributes: High attention to detail and a proactive, hands-on approach Professional, approachable, and reliable with a strong work ethic Flexible with working hours and willing to travel and stay away from home Resilient and able to perform under pressure Excellent team player with strong communication skills Self-motivated and capable of working independently when required Skills and Experience: Good understanding of the heavy lift industry and engineered construction sites Comfortable working with hydraulic jacking and skidding systems Confident verbal communicator with excellent organisational skills Experience in high-risk environments and adhering to safety-critical procedures Must be comfortable with nationwide travel and overnight stays Essential Qualifications: Valid Full UK Driving Licence CITB Safety Passport / CSCS Labourer Card Slinger Signaller - CPCS or NPORS Telehandler - CPCS or NPORS Desirable Qualifications: Crane Supervisor - CPCS Experience with hydraulic jacking systems How to Apply: If you're ready to take your career to the next level and work on exciting, high-profile installations across the UK, get in touch with the LRL Recruitment Team today.
