Our local client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team on a Part-Time basis. Working 16 hours per week, this company works hard to support their clients and provide excellent service. As a Bookkeeper, your duties will include but not be limited to processing invoices, completing reconciliations, and managing queries.
The hours of work will consist of 10:00-14:00 Tuesday to Friday, but these could be flexible for the right candidate.
Duties of the Bookkeeper:
1. Processing purchase invoices and credit notes for suppliers.
2. Reconcile statements and accounts for the company and suppliers.
3. Process weekly and monthly payments.
4. Analyse, reconcile and post company credit cards invoices and receipts.
5. Manage and resolve queries.
6. Carry out quarterly VAT returns and government submissions.
7. Complete month end tasks and processes.
8. Enter financial transactions into accounting software, keeping accurate records.
9. Prepare payment runs, management accounts, financial statements, and reports.
Personal Attributes:
1. Experience using a recognised accounting software.
2. Previous experience within a Bookkeeping or similar role.
3. Work well individually and work off your own initiative as well as within a team.
4. Good attention to detail.
5. Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office packages.
6. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
