Offer description

We're looking for an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join our solar operations team. In this hands-on role, you'll be out in the field keeping our solar PV systems performing at their best — safe, reliable, and efficient.

What you'll do

* Carry out routine maintenance, testing, and repairs on solar PV systems
* Deliver preventative and corrective maintenance in line with the annual plan (and as issues arise)
* Diagnose and resolve faults across AC and DC systems
* Log daily site activities through our online reporting system
* Complete risk assessments and report near misses
* Supervise and coordinate third-party contractors, ensuring H&S compliance
* Maintain accurate testing and maintenance records for audits
* Stay up to date with fire, health, and safety requirements
* Be prepared for occasional nights away and weekend rota work (with extra pay)

What you'll bring

* Level 3 City & Guilds/NVQ in Electrical Installations
* C&G and or equivalent)
* HV AP qualification
* 3+ years' experience in Solar PV O&M (ground mount)
* Solid knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems, HV systems, and industry-standard testing equipment
* Familiarity with CCTV and SCADA systems
* First Aid and Fire Marshal training (or willingness to train)
* Harness and IOSH qualifications (desirable – training can be provided)
