Operations Supervisor Maidstone 42 hours per week | Rotating shifts (5 days out of 7) Welcome to Arriva We’re looking for an Operations Supervisor to support the safe, reliable, and efficient delivery of bus services at our Maidstone depot. This is a hands-on operational role where you’ll support drivers, manage daily service delivery, and respond to real-time operational challenges. What you’ll be doing Act as the first point of contact for drivers throughout the operating day Manage day-to-day service delivery, including duty allocation and network control Respond to incidents such as service disruption, collisions, diversions, and passenger issues Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance Deliver driver briefings and support training, coaching, and performance standards Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and lost property processes Accurately record hours worked and support cost-effective operations Contribute to daily KPI tracking and continuous improvement initiatives What we’re looking for Essential PCV license Supervisory experience in an operational or people-focused role Good understanding of Health & Safety Knowledge of the PCV/HGV industry Experience working with Trade Unions Strong communication, organizational, and decision-making skills Confident IT user Flexible, resilient, and able to work under pressure Desirable First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain) Coaching or people development experience Why join Arriva?
