CNC Machinist
Location: Kings Lynn
Hours: 4-Day Week (Monday-Thursday)
Overview
We are supporting our client, a well-established precision engineering business, in their search for an experienced CNC 5-Axis Machinist. Due to a sharp rise in workload, they require an additional machinist to join the team.
Role Responsibilities
* Operating and programming 5-Axis Hurco CNC machines.
* Using FeatureCAM for CAD/CAM programming and toolpath creation.
* Performing both in-process and final inspection to tight tolerances.
* CMM programming and operation for dimensional verification.
* Working closely with the Shop Manager and wider production team.
* Maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and housekeeping.
Required Experience
* Proven experience with 5-Axis Hurco machining.
* Strong working knowledge of FeatureCAM.
* Confident in inspection methods and measurement equipment.
* CMM programming experience is essential.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* A proactive, hands-on approach.
