5. 2 shift rotation
6. Day Shift - Mon to Thu 06:00-14:00 Fri 06:00-13:30
7. Back Shift - Mon to Thu 13:45-23:45 Fri 13:45-22:45
8. (During probabtion - Mon to Thu 07:30-16:00 Fri 07:00-12:30)
9. Overtime Rate Applicable

THE ROLE
17. Manufacture precision components from engineering drawings using a range of manual lathes
18. Work to fine tolerances (up to 0.02mm) ensuring accuracy and consistency
19. Produce high-quality parts within agreed timeframes to meet production schedules
20. Adhere to all safety and quality procedures, contributing to ongoing process improvements
21. Ensure all work is completed in line with company procedures and British Standards
22. Support internal teams in identifying and resolving technical or production issues
23. Operate within a varied machine shop environment handling a wide range of components
24. Collaborate with a small team to maintain efficiency and high standards across the workshop
THE PERSON
25. Time-served machinist with experience in manual turning
26. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately
27. Confident working with both metric and imperial measurements
28. Experience working to tight tolerances with strong attention to detail
29. Additional machining skills (milling, boring, grinding, slotting) are advantageous but not essential
30. Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of work
31. Team player with a flexible and proactive approach
