Your Impact
Operating within the Integrated Mission Solutions (IMS) business area in the EW Line of Business, this role will provide support to key programmes within the UK and internationally.

You will interface with a variety of UK and International customers and work as part of integrated project teams (IPTs), supporting the maintenance of current contracts and developing commercial bids/ proposals.
You will have a successful record of accomplishment in a commercial business winning and/or contract management capacity in the Aerospace and Defence Sector and have experience working within a fast-paced environment.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to gain further Commercial experience supporting a variety of bids and contracts for key programmes, products and customers.
What You'll Do
1. Drafting, negotiating and administration of complex terms and conditions of contract, working with Procurement to ensure appropriate flow down to subcontractors.
2. Drafting and reviewing agreements such as Non-Disclosure Agreements, Software Licensing Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding.
3. Providing commercial support and administration to projects and/or contracts, including change control management, monitoring performance of its contractual obligations and management of commercial risk.
4. Producing accurate and compliant customer pricing by applying the appropriate pricing strategy and model to cost estimates.
5. Represent the Commercial function and Leonardo through unsupervised attendance at customer /supplier meetings.
6. Preparing proposals for submission to Customers in conjunction with the preparation of internal documentation required to obtain bid approval.
7. Ensuring that commercial and business processes and procedures are adhered to and that associated internal approvals are in place in line with delegated authorities.
8. Build and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers to deliver the value to the company.
9. Work as an integral member of the Integrated Project Team to support the winning of new business and the management and delivery of current contracts.
10. Managing own workload, highlighting areas of conflict or priority.
What you'll bring
11. An understanding of basic business finance, profit and loss, margin and mark up, escalation, foreign exchange.
12. Knowledge of export legislation, import taxes and duties.
13. An understanding of contract law and its application.
14. Identifies and understand commercial risks.
15. Has the ability to build effective and strong relationships with cross-functional colleagues, customers and suppliers.
16. Possesses excellent communication skills, written, oral and presentation skills.

19. Will travel in the UK to customers sites with possible overseas travel.
It Would Be Nice if You Had:
20. Degree, professional qualification (such as IACCM/WCC) and/or defence contracting experience
21. Detailed understanding of Leonardo markets, products, customers and suppliers
22. A familiarity with SAP and its functionality
