About the role
My client works within engineering and manufacturing and is looking to take on a Graduate Controls Engineer to develop as part of their team, on a permanent basis, in the Hampshire area.
Qualifications
* Apprenticeship / HNC / HND / BTEC / City and Guilds / Degree qualification or similar in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
* Knowledge or experience of working with PLC systems: Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar
* Any CAD skills would be beneficial
* Excellent hands‑on capabilities with panel building and wiring
* Ability to work well individually as well as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Responsibilities
* Working within the existing engineering technical team
* Being involved in automation projects
* Working with other Mechanical and Electrical Engineers
* Working on PLCs, panels, wiring
* Producing the required technical documentation
* Interfacing with customers when required
