Job Summary
The purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the management and leadership of the Finance team across our UK sites.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
* Managing the team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement culture.
* Responsible for reviewing and developing solutions to maintain robust control environment including fx control, balance sheet controls
* Weekly/Monthly operational reporting, development of team KPI’s
* Capital project appraisals
* Group budgeting, forecasts and business planning processes in partnership with key stakeholders within the business
* Understand and oversee the audit, statutory accounts filing and tax reporting processes
* Continually review and improve financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
* Carry out all necessary actions to ensure that the company mitigates risk whilst meeting its financial and legal obligations.
* Commercial business partnering with non-finance stakeholders both internally and externally
* Provide sound financial advice to the other members of the Board, as well as Senior Managers
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
* SAP experience required
* Strategic thinking, curious, ability to implement change, and drive teams in a continuous improvement culture.
* FMCG / Manufacturing experience, ideally in the food industry
* A track-record in developing and delivering effective business partnering through provision of relevant and insightful business analysis and information to key stake-holders
* Excellent people management skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams
* Inspirational leadership skills that drive team engagement
Qualifications
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA considered)
* 3+ years post qualification experience working in a business partnering role within a large corporate structure
