Job Description
* Manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish.
* Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
* Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
* Assess potential risks and provide solutions where necessary.
* Comply with guidelines and regulations including permits, safety etc.
* Manage payments, procurement and tendering.
* Oversee valuation, variations and final accounts.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Quantity Surveyor should have:
* An educational background in Construction, Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying or related field.
* Expert knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
* Ability to manage financial management.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
