Shop Manager Exmouth – The Children's Society
Permanent position. 37 hours per week, over 7 days, including Saturdays and Sundays. Salary: £25,760 per annum. Location: Exmouth.
Benefits: 28 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays, and a stakeholder pension scheme with matching contributions up to 8%.

Responsibilities
* Lead the Exmouth shop team, managing an Assistant Shop Manager and a diverse team of volunteers.
* Maximise sales and net contribution from donated goods.
* Drive revenue and ensure the shop operates profitably.
* Communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, supporters and the local community.
* Create a welcoming and positive experience for all participants.
* Build and maintain support for the shop within the local community.
Qualifications & Skills
* Hands‑on experience in retail and/or management.
* Strong communication and people skills.
* Leadership ability, confidence working with people from diverse backgrounds.
* Drive and focus on achieving sales targets.
