What you will do:
* Assess, diagnose, and treat foot and lower limb conditions for high-risk patients, ensuring the best possible care and outcomes.
* Manage wound care with confidence and proficiency, ensuring patients’ needs and healing potential are maximised.
* Discharge and refer patients onwards when necessary, maintaining a smooth flow and maximising patient care efficiency.
* Participate in clinical meetings, bringing your expertise to discussions to enhance service delivery.
* Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and fostering a positive working environment.
Requirements for the Podiatrist:
* Qualified podiatrist with a degree or equivalent in podiatry.
* Recent experience in podiatry, ideally within an NHS setting although not essential.
* Registered with the HCPC as a podiatrist to practice in the UK.
* Demonstrable experience in managing high-risk caseloads and wound care, with confidence in discharging and making onward referrals.
