Clinical Assessor / Disability Assessor – Registered Clinician | Taunton (Hybrid)
£39,500 + 10% Bonus | Monday to Friday, 9:00–5:30 | Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite
Essential Criteria:
Full HCPC or NMC registration (UK only)
Minimum 12 months post-registration experience in the UK
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
High standard of written English and IT proficiency

We are seeking experienced, NMC or HCPC-registered clinicians to join a multi-disciplinary team conducting functional assessments for Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and/or Work Capability Assessments (WCA) on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
This is a non-treatment, assessment-only role where you will apply your clinical expertise to evaluate how health conditions impact daily function.
What You’ll Do:
Conduct face-to-face bio-psycho-social assessments (2 days per week onsite)
Use clinical reasoning to assess the impact of physical and mental health conditions on activities of daily living (ADLs)
Prepare high-quality, evidence-based reports from home (3 days per week)
Treat each case with professionalism, empathy, and impartiality
