Senior Packaging Operator

* MacGregor Black is partnering with a high-growth, premium non-alcoholic beverage producer on the search for a Senior Packaging Operator. This is a permanent, Monday–Friday role, based on-site in Buckinghamshire.This position plays a critical role within the production team, supporting the Packaging Lead and ensuring that all product is packaged to the highest quality standards. You will be hands-on across bottling and canning operations, while also contributing to wider production and continuous improvement initiatives.Key Responsibilities
o Operate and maintain bottling and canning lines in line with SOPs and quality standards
o Support the Packaging Lead in day-to-day packaging operations and line performance
o Take responsibility on shift, alternating between supervisor and support roles as required
o Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
o Identify packaging risks and support mitigation and quality control processes
o Monitor line efficiency and contribute ideas to improve performance and output
o Work closely with production teams to update SOPs and improve ways of working
o Support training and development of team members across packaging processes
o Assist across wider production, fermentation, and warehouse operations when required
o Maintain high standards of data accuracy, organisation, and operational discipline
Qualifications and Experience
o Experience within food or drink production, ideally across bottling or canning lines
o Strong mechanical, hands-on approach with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
o Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving production environment
o Proactive, self-starting mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
o Flexible approach to workload and responsibilities across the wider operation
o Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
o Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to support and influence others
