Our Administrative Assistants (AA) play a critical role, providing excellent administrative support to Court users, Judiciary and Management.

HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of Criminal, Civil and Family Courts and Tribunals in England and Wales. Your role����
Our administrative teams are the core of our National Business Centres (NBCs), delivering great customer service and processing operational work to enable Justice.
At the Special Educational Needs Tribunals (SEND), we have multiple admin teams involved in processing appeals made against Local Authority decisions for children and young persons between the ages of 0 � 25. Your role will be to help prepare documents for these appeals in readiness for a Tribunal Hearing.
Typical roles include general electronic filing (moving emails into folders for different workstreams), photocopying, collecting and delivering files, post handling, monitoring office supplies and preparing documents / court bundles. There may also be some basic data entry work. We empower our staff to be the voice of our customers, giving them opportunity to make changes that matter to our users.

1. Friendly and approachable manner with excellent customer service skills.
2. Ability to multitask, whilst working in a fast-paced environment.
3. Good written and verbal communication skills.
4. IT proficient with the ability to learn and adapt to different technologies and software packages.
5. Excellent organisational skills.

Non-contractual hybrid working may be available. Hybrid working arrangements will be determined by the business and will only be available when it has been established that delivering the service from home can be done effectively. We cannot facilitate requests for a particular work from home / working in the office schedule.�
Standard full time working hours are 37 hours per week. HMCTS welcomes part-time, flexible and job-sharing working patterns, where they meet the demands of the role and business needs and are agreed prior to appointment. All applications for part-time, flexible and job-sharing working patterns will be considered in accordance with the MoJ�s Flexible Working policy.
