JOB TITLE: Logistics and Sales Administrator
Opportunity for an organised and flexible administrator to join a growing global business in Essex.
Purpose of the Post: To be responsible for all aspects of logistics and sales administration. Serve as the first point of contact with key customers and ANZCO NZ for order management, shipping details, and information requests. Support the Logistics, Commercial, and General Managers by handling data management and accuracy of sales and logistics information in customer and ANZCO software systems. Cover for the Logistics Manager during holidays and travel. Be an active member of a small team.
Duties and Tasks:
* Check accuracy of import documentation and coordinate corrections with ANZCO NZ.
* Request PINs and arrange bookings with hauliers.
* Send loadout and weekly shipment reports to customers; handle ad hoc inquiries.
* Update logistics logs with ETAs and dispatch details.
* Backup for Logistics Manager.
* Manage orders between ANZCO NZ/Itoham Japan and customers for regular programs.
* Input sales data into ANZCO systems and confirm with customers.
* Handle customer-specific sales administration tasks.
* Manage important documents like specs, certifications, trace requests, and industry reports.
* Oversee various customer purchasing and supply chain systems.
* Create and distribute stock sheets to sales team.
* Coordinate onboarding of new customers and form submissions.
General Administration:
* Manage office landline and communications.
* Packing and couriering product samples.
* Manage holiday calendar, office supplies, and expenses.
* Potentially take over smaller customer accounts if interested.
Additional Duties:
* Perform any reasonable duties assigned by management within your capabilities.
Person Specification:
Self-motivated, enthusiastic, highly organized, and detail-oriented. Able to work independently and as part of a small team, assisting where needed.
Experience (Essential or Desirable):
* Logistics or sales administration experience (Essential).
* Industry knowledge and current practices (Desirable).
* Sales experience (Desirable).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Essential).
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines (Essential).
* Effective communication skills (Essential).
* Flexible work ethic and team player (Essential).
