Unqualified Maths Teacher (KS3–KS4)
Join our outstanding secondary school in Dartford. We are seeking a maths graduate to start as an Unqualified Maths Teacher, with a permanent full‑time contract beginning November and the opportunity to progress towards QTS through our salaried teacher training programme. Pay ranges between £27,500 and £39,500 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging maths lessons for KS3–KS4 pupils, with optional KS5 support.
* Support pupils’ progress through assessment, feedback, and targeted interventions.
* Collaborate with colleagues to promote a high‑expectation culture and co‑plan curriculum.
* Maintain open communication with students, parents, and school leadership to facilitate learning.
Person Specification
* 1st class or 2:1 maths‑based degree.
* Strong knowledge of mathematics at A‑Level and GCSE.
* Confidence in specialist subject knowledge and ability to lead.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
* Outgoing, committed, and passionate about supporting students to thrive.
* Previous tutoring or experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
