Role Overview:
We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Planner to support the delivery of responsive repairs across our social housing sector in Pembroke. The role focuses on efficient scheduling, contractor coordination, and ensuring residents receive a timely and high-quality repairs service.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, schedule, and allocate responsive repair works in line with contract requirements and performance KPIs.
* Coordinate contractors and operatives, ensuring labour, materials, and access are arranged for timely completion of works.
* Monitor job progress and compliance with SLAs, escalating delays or performance issues where necessary.
* Communicate with residents to arrange appointments, provide updates, and manage queries with professionalism and empathy.
* Maintain accurate records of work orders, schedules, contractor activity, and resident communications.
* Support contract performance reporting through data monitoring, KPI tracking, and identifying areas for improvement.
* Respond to emergency and priority repairs promptly, ensuring resources are deployed effectively and safely.
You will need:
* Experience in planning, scheduling, coordination, or contract administration, ideally within social housing, construction, or repairs and maintenance.
* Strong understanding of responsive repairs processes, contractor management, and performance-driven service delivery.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a high-volume workload and adapt to changing priorities.
* Confident communicator with strong customer service skills and the ability to engage professionally and empathetically with residents.
* Proficient in IT systems, including Microsoft Office and job management/scheduling software
* Ability to interpret and work with performance data, KPIs, and operational reports.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced, reactive environment.
