Oldham College is seeking an ambitious and motivated Programme Tutor in Sport and Academies to join our growing and high-performing Sport provision.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach across a range of Sport and Exercise Science and Coaching programmes, while contributing to our high-profile academy partnerships.
The Role
You Will Deliver High-quality Teaching, Learning And Assessment Across
Sport and Exercise Science Level 1–3 (NCFE)
Sports Coaching and Development Level 1–3
Manchester City in the Community Football Academy
Manchester Giants Basketball Academy
You will play a key role in driving achievement, progress and positive learner destinations. You will also act as a personal tutor for at least two cohorts, supporting attendance, behaviour, progress monitoring and parental engagement.
Our partnership with Manchester City in the Community provides exceptional learner opportunities including international placements, matchday experiences and professional pathways into sport-related careers.
There may also be opportunities to contribute to our expanding Fitness Academy, including Level 2–4 Personal Training provision.
About You
You will hold a relevant teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one) and have experience delivering Sport and Exercise Science and/or Coaching qualifications.
You Will Demonstrate
Strong classroom management and learner engagement skills
Experience of planning, delivering and assessing vocational Sport qualifications
Commitment to high achievement and progression outcomes
A passion for preparing learners for employment or higher education
