SEND Teacher - Independent Specialist School (KS2-KS3) Salary: £32,000 - £43,000 | Full-time Location: Staffordshire | Ofsted Rating: Good Are you an experienced SEND teacher passionate about supporting young people with complex needs? Do you have experience teaching Maths and want to make a real difference in a trauma-informed, nurturing environment as a SEND Teacher? Our client, an independent specialist school in Cannock, supports students in KS2 and KS3 who have previously experienced difficulties accessing mainstream education. The school provides a safe, structured, and personalised environment, helping students re-engage with learning and achieve their best outcomes. What You'll Do Plan and deliver engaging, evidence-informed lessons tailored to individual pupil needs, including those with SEND and trauma histories. Use assessment data to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Promote pupils' social, emotional, and academic development through trauma-informed and therapeutic approaches. Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning, consistent with the school's behaviour policy and Staff Code of Conduct. Collaborate with teaching assistants and specialist staff to provide effective, personalised support.
