RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Acting as the named quantum expert or as the lead assistant to one of our globally recognised quantum experts involved in international arbitration, litigation or ADR.
* Drafting expert reports and leading the analysis for the final reports.
* Experience of testifying under cross examination.
* Providing advisory services to Clients.
* Ability to win own expert appointments. Generating USD 125,000+ of new fees for the business per annum.
* Managing the workload and career development of team members.
* Attending and organising client events.
* UK based with some national and international travel.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Degree level education in a construction or Quantity Surveying related field (or equivalent).
* Relevant MSc would be an advantage (or equivalent).
* RICS qualified or equivalent.
* Ideally 5-10 years of construction related industry experience.
* Ideally 3+ years quantum expert experience.
* Excellent understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Excellent report writing skills and comfortable analysing large sets of data.
* Energetic, pro-active and professional.
* Excellent communication skills - verbal/written.
