Flourish Education is currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within a small village school in Gloucester. The school has recently been rated ‘Outstanding’ by ofsted, with it’s most recent report stating that ‘Relationships between teachers and pupils are extremely good and pupils demonstrate very positive behaviour and excellent attitudes to work in lessons. Consequently, pupils learn exceptionally well across the curriculum.’ The SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting several pupils across all year groups. In the mornings, you will be working with a Year 1 pupil. In the afternoons, you will be working with intervention groups across Key Stage 2. The successful applicant would need to have a secure understanding of the Primary curriculum, and must have previous experience of working with children with SEN. The school are looking for a dedicated teaching assistant who is willing to commit to a long-term position. This is a full-time role to start as soon as possible and to continue until the end of the academic year.
