Overview
Clinically you will work at FY3/ST1 level (dependent on experience).
To provide appropriate clinical care to acute patients with consultant support, by working on the General medicine on call rota.
As a key member of a clinical team, post holders will be expected to maintain a high professional standard and actively participate in matters concerning patient safety and Clinical Governance.
The post will suit a motivated doctor who would like to develop their knowledge and experience in the field of General Medicine. When working clinically the post holder will work in general medicine at FY2+ level, as a member of a ward-based team at Harrogate District Hospital. This position will be predominantly based with the Elderly medicine team and there will be regular exposure to other specialties across medicine.
Harrogate District Hospital is a vibrant district general hospital with just under 400 beds. It is set in the beautiful spa town of Harrogate and within reach of the Yorkshire Dales.
