We are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of an Insurance Brokers based in Colchester who are currently seeking to appoint a Commercial Account Executive to join their successful team. You will be responsible for managing a book of existing client looking to upsell opportunities to generate revenue for the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Prospect new leads.
* Client visits/initial contact.
* Negotiation and presentation to insurers in order to secure most appropriate cover for the client.
* Close sales and ensure cover is on risk.
* Secure cross selling business and referrals.
* Monitor own performance in line with targets and effectively manage the client portfolio.
* Ensure all business activity fully complies with FCA regulation and company procedures.
* Conduct learning, training and assessment exercises.
* Achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and promote exceptional customer care.
* Develop and maintain a professional working relationship with all clients and ensure expert advice in all areas of business.
* Reporting to the Directors and influencing the direction and performance of the business.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Two years previous experience working as an Account Executive in a brokerage.
* Proven track record in client ownership and achieving growth in commercial insurance.
* Cert CII qualified is desired but not essential
* Self-managing and ability to organise own workload
