We are currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a well-resourced and inclusive SEN school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting students with a range of additional needs and helping them access meaningful education and training.
As a Learning Support Assistant in Newham, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment. Responsibilities:
Support students with EHCPs and a range of complex needs
Work closely with class teachers and therapists to deliver tailored interventions
Help manage behaviour and encourage participation in all classroom activities
Support individual pupils both in class and during structured activities
Maintain a commitment to professional development and quality education
Requirements:
Previous experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant preferred
A proactive, caring, and patient approach
Strong communication and teamworking skills
Willingness to learn and support inclusive education and training
