General Manager – Honda Leicester

The role
We are seeking a General Manager to join our Honda division and manage our Leicester store. This role will lead day‑to‑day operations across the site, with full accountability for dealership financial performance and line management of the dealership leadership teams. Reporting to the Franchise Director, this is a full‑time, permanent role that offers the right candidate a chance to join a successful group with high employee engagement.
What you’ll do
* Lead, manage, and motivate a team of automotive professionals, ensuring the dealership is adequately resourced.
* Drive a high‑performance culture, ensuring performance is rewarded and underperformance is managed.
* Oversee the sales and aftersales divisions, ensuring performance meets or exceeds budget.
* Set financial and growth objectives for each department and plan accordingly to achieve profit and product targets.
* Accurately finalize dealership reporting, in line with group reporting frameworks.
* Develop and roll out dealership marketing and publicity strategies to support objectives.
* Support the dealership to consistently achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Ensure dealership activities are conducted in line with Marshall Motor Group, manufacturer and regulatory requirements.
Who you are
It is preferred that you have previous experience as a General Manager level. Manufacturer experience would be beneficial but is not essential for success in this role. In addition, we seek individuals who display the following attributes:
