Reporting to the Senior Compliance Auditor (SHEQ), you will play an integral role in updating, maintaining and enhancing the companys management systems. The position focuses on delivering a service centred on continual improvement, ensuring systems remain fit for purpose, compliant with specifications, statutory obligations, and aligned with industry best practices. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team spanning four diverse business areas, playing a key role in driving the organisations overall success. In addition to maintaining and developing the companys Management Systems, you will contribute to identifying and implementing business improvements aimed at enhancing quality, efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial awareness and exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective business relationships while upholding high standards. This role requires a proactive, self-motivated individual who works well as part of a team and can provide data-driven, informed insights to drive continuous improvement. Key responsibilities: Maintain, review and enhance the companys Integrated Management System (IMS), covering ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, BS EN ISO/IEC 17025, NHSS 12d, 13 & 16, and the Construction Products Regulations (CE Marking) Control and manage documented management systems using SharePoint for version control and accessibility across business units Develop and update SHEQ management documentation, procedures and operational guidance Support the creation and management of Environmental Aspects and Impact Assessments Coordinate documentation and evidence for UKAS, CE/UKCA Marking and other relevant regulatory or accreditation bodies Gather, analyse and present performance data and KPI trends using Power BI dashboards to support management reviews and continuous improvement Collaborate with site teams and project managers using Procore to monitor compliance, corrective actions and quality documentation across civil engineering and quarrying projects Conduct gap analyses and recommend improvements to enhance system integration and effectiveness Support internal and external audits, inspections an reporting activities Knowledge indicators and experience Strong background in Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems, ideally within construction, quarrying, waste management or laboratory environments In depth understanding of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards (Lead Auditor qualification desirable) Experience maintaining or improving system accredited to ISO/IEC 17025 (laboratory quality) Skilled in Microsoft Office 365, particularly SharePoint(document management), Excel (data analysis) and Power BI (reporting and visualisation) Practical experience using Procore or similar project management platforms for compliance Excellent written and verbal communications skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and present findings effectively Strong analytical and organisational skills with attention to details and accuracy Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships and influence colleagues across all levels of the organisation Full, clean driving license Personal Qualities / Attributes Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability Collaborative team player committed to continuous improvement and upholding the highest professional standards Positive, adaptable and solution - focused approach to challenges Excellent time management and ability to work independently under pressure Closing date for applications is:Sunday 23rd November 2025.
