ECommerce Analyst | 6 Month FTC | Up to £65,000 pro rata | Hybrid
I’m currently recruiting for an eCommerce Analyst to join a major retail business on an initial 6 month fixed term contract.
This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded digital analyst who can quickly get into the detail, identify what is driving online performance, and turn data into practical recommendations that improve results.
This is not a reporting-only role. We’re looking for someone who can diagnose performance issues and opportunities across the full eCommerce journey, including traffic quality, conversion, AOV, funnel drop-off, checkout behaviour, product performance, and trading activity.
The opportunity:
* 6 month fixed term contract
* Salary up to £65,000 pro rata
* Hybrid working, Hertfordshire on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
What you’ll be doing:
* Deep-dive analysis across traffic, conversion, AOV, revenue, bounce rate and customer journeys
* Diagnosing performance by channel, device, customer type, brand, category, product type and price band
* Funnel analysis across PLP, PDP, basket and checkout
* Identifying on-site friction, traffic quality issues and conversion blockers
* Supporting CRO and experimentation with test hypotheses and measurement frameworks
* Providing insight to trading and merchandising teams on category, product and promotional performance
* Improving dashboards, reporting clarity and speed-to-insight
* Validating tracking and highlighting data quality issues
What we’re looking for:
* Proven experience as an eCommerce Analyst or Digital Analyst in a retail / consumer environment
* Strong hands-on experience with Adobe Analytics
* Good understanding of GA4
* Ability to explain why performance changed, not just report the numbers
* Strong commercial thinking and stakeholder engagement skills
* SQL and dashboarding experience would be highly beneficial
This role would suit someone who is confident working at pace, comfortable operating with minimal hand-holding, and able to deliver impact quickly in a fast-moving retail environment.
