Main Responsibilities
* Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere that promotes resident independence and dignity
* Assist in planning and delivering individualized care to residents
* Supervise and lead a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support
* Administer medications
* Maintain accurate records
* Perform personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Monitor and record vital signs, ensuring health and safety
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
* Contribute to developing, implementing, and updating care plans and review meetings
* Maintain a clean and organised care environment
* Uphold confidentiality and residents’ rights and privacy
* Provide companionship and emotional support
Qualifications
* SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong leadership and team management abilities
* Compassion and empathy for others
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* A positive mindset and attitude
* This position requires PVG and two references
