About The Role
In your role as a Head Housekeeper at HC-One, you’ll value kindness above all else. Kindness drives every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every single person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
For you, as a Head Housekeeper, this will mean ensuring that you and the housekeeping team keep an absolutely spotless home for our residents. You’ll manage the cleaning rota, leading by example. Whether planning the week’s laundry, ordering cleaning products, or reading up on infection control procedures, you’ll always prioritize the wellbeing of our residents.
HC-One is looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper with proven team leadership, record keeping, and time management skills. You’ll have outstanding awareness of Health & Safety, COSHH regulations, and infection control. Your positive energy and ability to get along with people are essential. You will communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know appropriate actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, escalating issues if necessary.
We’ll provide full training to support your learning. In return, you will enjoy a variety of benefits and services to support your physical and psychological wellbeing. Throughout your career as a Head Housekeeper, we will invest in your development, including:
* Hourly rate subject to experience and qualifications.
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG check.
* Free uniform.
* A nutritious meal during shifts of eight hours or more.
* Company pension scheme.
